Goodbye Pontiac
While the last Pontiac G6 vehicles to finish production at the General Motors’s Orion Plant today were not the last Pontiac vehicles to be built before the brand is discontinued, they were the closest to home. The Orion plant will hopefully be revived with a new car model in 2011, but in the meanwhile, a huge, relatively new auto plant that my dad finished up his working days as a fork lift driver for GM will be shuttered.
